The College is situated in a serene 18 acre rainforest property in Diamond Valley, six kilometres from the township of Mooloolah on the Sunshine Coastand only twenty minutes drive to Australia Zoo. We are Queensland's leading and longest established Shiatsu College, specialising in Shiatsu and related Oriental Therapies since 1987.
Training is now offered in intensives with accommodation available at the College.International Students are welcome as ACEM is now a registered CRICOS approved training organisation.
The College offers Nationally Recognised Training in Shiatsu including The Diploma of Shiatsu and Oriental Therapies (HLT50207). The College also offers an Advanced Diploma of Acupuncture and Oriental Therapies which is accredited by The Australian Natural Therapies Association (ANTA). Graduates of this qualification who join ANTA can offer Health Fund Rebates for acupuncture for all leading Health Insurance funds such as Medibank Private,HCF and MBF.
July 2012 sees the national registration for acupuncture requiring studnents enrolled after this date be enrolled in a degree course.
ACEM is very pleased to announce that articulataion with Southern Cross University and Charles Sturt University is now finalised.This will ready the College for registration of its acupuncture training to the level of a Bachelor of Clinical Science which is due to commence in July 2012.
Veterinary Shiatsu and Acupuncture training is also available especially for those seeking a career in the Equine Complimentary Medicine industry.
As class sizes are quite small (usually between six to twelve students), students are guaranteed to get individual attention.The focus at ACEM is on quality not quantity..
We are very excited to be opening a new branch of the college in Lismore in 2012. The new location will offer the same qualifications and course content as the Sunshine Coast branch.

A branch of the college has opened in the beautiful Bellingen Valley. Located half-way between Sydney and Brisbane, and nestled in a river valley with easy access to mountains, rivers, rainforests, beaches, and a diverse population of alternative-minded people, the new Bellingen college is the ideal place to study healing arts. The location of the College is at the spectacular North Farm, with its stunning mountain views.

The Bellingen college offers the same accredited courses: the Diploma of Shiatsu and Oriental Therapies, the Diploma of Remedial Massage (Eastern) and the Advanced Diploma of Acupuncture leading to a Bachelor of Health Science.
A number of students have already started studying in Bellingen by beginning with the External Units, such as Oriental Medicine. The course in Bellingen is Austudy/Abstudy approved and welcomes International students. The Internal Units (face to face training) will commence in February 2012.
